"5-Star Review: Outstanding Hands-On CCW Class with Martin & Rafael

If you’re serious about carrying a firearm and want a Concealed Carry class that goes beyond checking a box—this is the one to take. I recently completed this hands-on CCW course led by Instructors Martin and Rafael, and it was one of the most valuable and empowering training experiences I’ve ever had.

Martin and Rafael bring a perfect balance of professionalism, real-world experience, and a genuine passion for teaching. From the moment the class began, they created a safe, structured, and engaging environment where every student, regardless of experience level, felt welcome and supported.

What made this class stand out was how practical and scenario-driven it was. It wasn’t just sitting in a classroom listening to laws (though that was covered clearly and thoroughly)—we spent real time on our feet learning how to draw from concealment, move under pressure, maintain situational awareness, and make fast, responsible decisions under stress.

The range portion was top-tier. Martin and Rafael gave personal attention to each student, helping improve accuracy, build confidence, and correct any bad habits in real time. Safety was always the #1 priority, but they never lost sight of the need for real-world readiness.

They also did a fantastic job breaking down legal responsibilities and defensive mindset principles in a way that was both easy to understand and eye-opening. You walk away from this course not only more skilled, but more mentally prepared for the responsibility of concealed carry.

Bottom line: If you’re looking for a CCW class that will truly prepare you—not just check a box—Martin and Rafael are the instructors you want. Their knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to responsible gun ownership are second to none.

This class is worth every minute and every dollar. Highly recommended!"

"Took a Renewal CCW class for LASD with them and I have to say, it was 10000% better than another school in Burbank I took 2 years ago…Mr. Martin and staff have a lot of knowledge to pass on and made the class fun…they answered all our questions with professionalism and showed us some new insights on defensive shooting… If you want to actually learn how to draw from the holster and shoot, I highly recommend these guys for your training needs. But if you just want to pay the money and leave like the shady one, I mentioned in Burbank, keep on looking….."

-Bryan Ruppenthal

"I recently completed the 16-hour CCW training with Mr. Martine, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. Mr. Martine delivers not only the required curriculum but goes far beyond, sharing invaluable insights that many other courses simply don’t cover. From understanding different holster types to the essentials of everyday carry, the instruction was thorough, practical, and eye-opening.

What truly sets this training apart is the emphasis on real-world application—especially in the areas of gun safety and proper holster draw techniques, which are often overlooked elsewhere. Mr. Martine is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and committed to ensuring every student leaves with both confidence and competence.

Whether you’re applying for your CCW or simply want to improve your firearm handling and safety awareness, I highly recommend taking this class. It’s an investment in your safety and preparedness that’s well worth it."
