Report writing has come a long way from the times when man first learned to read and write. In olden times, events were recorded in writing so as to maintain this information for future reference. Numbers of epics have been written informing us about the eras of ancient and urban civilization. There exist religious books that provide detailed reports of mankind’s years on earth during the past 5,000 years. With these permanent records or reports that exist much later in time, we are able allow to learn the exact same information generation after generation. Reports also play an essential part in security. Report writing is one important duty a security officer must complete.
